About the local organising committee:

The XXVI Congress is being organised locally by the Social, Economic and Geographical Sciences Group of the James Hutton Institute.  With 28 researchers and 8 research assistants, we are the largest group of social and economic scientists in the United Kingdom studying rural communities, land use and the environment.
